These terms, together with the documents they refer to, apply to everyone who uses language.veratechglobal.com (the “website”), whether you are browsing or buying. Using the website includes visiting it, reading it and ordering services through it. By using the website you accept these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.

The website is operated by VeraTech Limited, a company registered in Hong Kong.

How we collect and use information about you is described in our Privacy Policy. By using the website, you agree that we may use your personal data as described there.
3. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms by updating this page. If you keep using the website after a change, you accept the new terms, so please check this page from time to time. An order you have already paid for stays under the terms that applied when you placed it.

We may update the website and change its content at any time. Some content may become out of date, and while we try to keep it accurate, we do not promise that the website is free of errors or omissions.
5. Access to the website
The website is free to visit. We do not promise that it, or any part of it, will always be available or uninterrupted, and we may suspend, withdraw or change any part of it without notice. We are not liable to you if the website is unavailable at any time or for any period. You are responsible for making the arrangements you need to access the website, and for making sure that anyone who uses it through your internet connection knows and follows these terms.
6. Acceptable use
You may use the website only for lawful purposes. You must not use it:
- in any way that breaks any applicable local, national or international law or regulation;
- in any unlawful or fraudulent way, or for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose or effect;
- to harm or try to harm minors in any way;
- to send, or arrange the sending of, unsolicited advertising or promotional material (spam);

7. Our services and orders
- Our services are described on the website: translation packages, single-file translation charged by file size, certified translation, website and app localization, and multilingual desktop publishing (DTP).
- An order is made when your payment succeeds and we send you an order number by email.
- We may decline an order, for example if the content is unlawful or outside what we can translate well. If we do, we refund you in full.
- Prices, payment, revisions, cancellations and refunds are covered by our Payment Terms.
8. Your content
- You confirm that you own, or have permission to use, the files and text you send us, and that translating them does not break any law or infringe anyone’s rights.
- You allow us, and the translators working for us, to copy and process your content only to provide the service you ordered.
- We keep your content confidential and delete project files 90 days after delivery.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the source material. We translate what you send; we do not check the facts in it.
- For certified translations, the receiving authority decides what it accepts. Please check its requirements before ordering; we follow any instructions it gives.
9. Delivery and quality
- Delivery time starts once your project manager has confirmed the brief with you. Late or incomplete materials from you extend it accordingly.
- Files are delivered by email.
- Translation errors are corrected free of charge if you report them within 30 days of delivery. These corrections do not count as revisions.
10. Intellectual property
VERATECH owns, or is licensed to use, all intellectual property rights in the website and the material published on it. These works are protected by copyright laws and treaties around the world, and all such rights are reserved.
You may print one copy, and download extracts, of any page of the website for your personal use, and you may draw the attention of others within your organisation to content on it. You must not change the paper or digital copies you make, or use any illustration, photograph, video, audio or graphic separately from the text that goes with it. VERATECH’s status as author of the content must always be acknowledged. You must not use any part of the website for commercial purposes without permission from us or our licensors. If you print, copy or download any part of the website in breach of these terms, your right to use the website ends at once, and you must return or destroy any copies you have made.
The translations we deliver to you belong to you once your order is paid in full.
11. No reliance on information
The content of the website is for general information only. It is not advice you should rely on: get professional advice before acting, or not acting, on it. Although we make reasonable efforts to keep the website up to date, we make no promises, express or implied, that its content is accurate, complete or current.
12. Our liability
To the extent the law allows, we and third parties connected with us exclude all conditions, warranties and other terms that might otherwise be implied by statute, common law or equity. Our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under the applicable law.
13. Viruses
We do not guarantee that the website will be secure or free from bugs or viruses. You are responsible for configuring your technology and computer programs to access it, and should use your own virus protection software.
You must not misuse the website by knowingly introducing viruses, trojans, worms, logic bombs or other malicious or technologically harmful material. You must not try to gain unauthorised access to the website, the server on which it is stored, or any server, computer or database connected to it, and you must not attack it through a denial-of-service or distributed denial-of-service attack. Doing so may be a criminal offence. We will report any such breach to the relevant law enforcement authorities and give them your identity, and your right to use the website will end at once.
